Annie is a gorgeous recent graduate from Lafayette High School. She comes to us via recommendations from wonderful clients/friends of ours. You may remember my earlier post this year about Carly’s senior pictures. Annie and Carly are good friends and they were actually born on the same day, at the same hospital by the same doctor. Wow, how rare is that?!? I doubt many of us can say that. Annie had a wonderful session in the studio and on location at Keeneland.
I have to tell you this story about the day we photographed Taylor. Taylor does not live in Lexington full time, she attends high school in Tennessee and we only had one opportunity to photograph her and it was the day before Thanksgiving. The pressure was on since we knew prior to her appointment that she not only wanted studio portraits but photographs taken at Keeneland Racecourse too. So the weather not cooperating was not going to be a good situation. So as you can imagine, it snowed the night before Taylor’s sitting. Oh no, what are we going to do but hope that Taylor would be interested in having her environmental pictures taken in the snow. Guess what? She did. She called us the morning of her appointment asking if she could have her senior photos taken in the snow. Wow, of course we will take her senior pictures in the snow! It’s not often that our clients want their photographs in the snow unless it’s a winter wedding and there is no choice when it’s snowing or there is already snow on the ground. I am absolutely in love with Taylor’s high school senior photographs.
The first photograph will be going up in our studio. She ordered it and we loved it so much we decided that we just had to have it too. I can’t wait to see it on our the studio walls soon.
This beautiful young lady is now a first year student at Centre College. She brought to her senior portrait sitting so much of her personality and style. I loved all of her images. We are impressed with Sarah for not only getting one scholarship to Center College but two scholarships! Awesome! Her parents must be so proud.
What an honor to photograph our nephew Adam all the way from Ashburn, Va!
He drove his car so "Uncle Scott" could take pictures of him with his wheels.
Of course "Uncle Scott" has been taking Adam's pictures since he was born. He has grown up to be a handsome and a honor roll student.
I'm excited to show you Jessica's senior photographs. She comes to us from Johnson Central High School.
We have been very impressed with Jessica. Along with her high school classes she is taking a college class as well.
Jessica is a very busy young lady. She is involved with Hosa, Interactive and the 4-H Club.
What a great set of senior portraits taken of Morgan. This one is may favorite. I would love to hang this one as a wall portrait in the studio.
This talented young lady has been coming here for her familys' photographs since 2001. She was only 6 years old when Scott first photographed her and her brother for their family's Christmas card.
We had a beautiful fall Kentucky day to photograph Morgan's senior portraits.
Morgan is a senior at the Sayre School.
Most everybody who knows us, knows that we love horses and we never miss the Rolex Three Day Event every April. Little did we know that Morgan is a member of the Keeneland Pony Club and we found this photograph that Scott took of her two years ago! She is riding her horse prior to show jumping event on the final day of the Rolex.
You may have seen this young lady on our website or in our studio. Mikayla's photograph hangs here in the studio with her younger sisters. We have been taking Mikayla's family photos since she was eleven years old. Little did we know at the time what a beautiful, wonderful and kind person she would grow up to be.
I love to watch the children of the families we photograph grow up and we appreciate that they make us a part of the special times in their lives.
Mikayla chose to have her high school senior portraits taken in the fall to take advantage of the wonderful fall colors.
Mikayla will be going to college right here at the University of Kentucky. Go cats!

Madison is not only beautiful, she is quite a talented young lady. She plays volleyball for Scott County High School and she is an amazing singer. What a voice!
It's high school senior portrait time at Studio Walz, Inc. Here are a few photographs from Miles senior portraits. He chose to have his senior portraits taken at Keeneland Racecourse. A beautiful location that represents Kentucky and our love of horses.
Miles is a senior at PL Dunbar High School and quite an awesome swimmer.
Great set of senior pictures of Austin. He is an outgoing young man that played soccer for Lexington Catholic High School. This fall he will be entering the University of Kentucky majoring in Engineering.
We first met his brother Ryan a couple of years and now we have the opportunity to photograph Austin.
