Elizabeth and Tyler love Keeneland and love each other. We had a great time wandering around and exploring the property and enjoying the crisp fall day. The sun came out and warmed us up and we made the most of the beautiful light.

What a great couple! I just have to say it. Sometimes you just know when you meet a couple that they are meant to be together. Well, I felt that way when I first met Christie and Zach.Prior to their wedding, Christie and Zach made their way downtown Lexington, Kentucky for some fun photos at Lexington's beautiful Triangle Park and then on to Ashland, the Henry Clay Estate. We like it when couples make time before their wedding or even after for a little fun with their bridal party or just themselves. This time together, whether it's at a park or a special and meaningful place of the bride and groom, always creates wonderful images to be cherished for a lifetime. It also indicates to us their commitment to spectacular wedding day photographs.

The reception was held at the the Hilary J. Boone Center on the campus of the University of Kentucky. The Sensations kicked off the reception and the couple along with their friends and family danced the night away.

Love was truly in the air on their special day. Their wedding pictures are filled with love and laughter which is a sure sign of their future happiness together.

Kelly & Tom | weddings lexington, ky

Oh my, we have been so busy with high school seniors portraits that I let this January wedding pass us by without blogging about it. It’s so easy to get caught up with the day-to-day craziness of a photography studio that sometimes blogging can completely slip my mind; So here I am, hoping this wedding doesn’t look too out-of-place while we are having 80 degree weather. Kelly and Tom exchanged their vows at the beautiful Cathedral Christ the King in Lexington Ky on a snowy Saturday in January.

The weather didn’t stop this couple from having a spectacular wedding.

Their reception took place at the famous Keeneland racecourse.

Wonderful Christmas wedding of a lovely couple. This couple made their way to Keeneland before their vows to have a landmark Kentucky backdrop for some of their wedding day photographs. Weddings are a beautiful opportunity to take your wedding party and family to a picturesque location for some fun and artistic wedding photos. Morgan and Mark chose the Signature Club for their wedding and reception. As you can see from these photographs it was a stunning day!

Shana & Adam | bodley bullock wedding lexington ky

What a pleasure it has been meeting and getting to know Shana and Adam. They are a wonderful couple and quite photogenic too. Their wedding was in October and unfortunately mother nature wasn't cooperating that day and the outdoor wedding planned for Gratz Park had to be scrapped for plan B for an indoor ceremony at the Bodley Bullock House (reception location). Now, the weather didn't spoil the day in the least. The couple had a great time with all of their pre ceremony pictures taken in the Bodley Bullock House and at Gratz Park even some along the streets for an urban feel. Enjoy!

An unforgettable wedding in Louisville Kentucky. This wedding was held at St. John's Evangelical Church. A stunning location for a stunning couple.

Whitney and Daniel's wedding reception took them to Churchill Down's to the Kentucky Derby Museum. Great venue!

Marylee and Nathan chose to have their engagement pictures taken this spring at several locations around Lexington including Ashland, The Henry Clay Estate.

We have known Marylee and her family for many years and are happy to be a part of their special family occasions.

Some of you may remember Marylee as our summer intern last year. She assisted Scott with portrait sittings and weddings and was great help in the studio.
