After many requests from friends and family, here are just a few pictures from our recent visit to New York City. Scott and I tend to be private when it comes to social media but I'm bending our rules a little. So many of friends, clients and family helped us with restaurant suggestions and places to go that I had to share our trip. We traveled to New York with our good friends Dee and Tom. They are wonderful friends of ours for many years and know us the best. We just hope that we didn't drive them crazy on this trip because we have more trips to plan.
Just a little side note about Scott and his photo gear. When we travel it's always a long contemplation for Scott on what photography gear is he going to take. Of course, it depends on where we are going, what will we be doing and how many cameras and lenses will he be taking. Well, to my surprise Scott only took a pocket camera that he purchase for his trip to mission Honduras last year and his phone. You could have knocked me over with a feather. Scott explained that this trip he was just going to make do with his small camera so he wouldn't have so much gear to haul all around New York City. Of course, there were many times he was kicking himself for not bringing a particular camera with a particular lens but in the end he was pleased with his decision.
