Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event

The last weekend in April is the Rolex Kentucky Three Day Event that is attend by thousands from around the world. Scott and I make our annual trek to the Kentucky Horse Park located right here in Lexington for one of the finest equestrian events. My favorite event is the Cross-Country event.

This rider seemed relieved that he made the jump.

This was a terrible mishap that happened in front of us. The rider's mount caught it's hoof on the jump and caused a fall. Both horse and rider were fine but this did disqualify them from the rest of the event.

This is my favorite picture. This was a very difficult jump and this rider and horse were amazing.

I caught Scott taking pictures of me instead of the event.

Going through all of the photographs from the weekend has me already looking forward to next year's event. I hope to see you there. Valorie

Grace & Jackson | Lexington Ky Childrens Photographer

I'm not sure if the appeal for Grace and Jackson is getting their picture taken or getting to play with Scott. They both have had their picture taken at Studio Walz since they were born and they have always loved their time here. Scott loves the time he spends with them as well. Breanna | Lexington Ky Senior Photography

Some of our favorite students we photograph each year are the

PL Dunbar High School Band

and generally there are a few of those students we have the honor to photograph their senior pictures. Well this year Breanna is one of those seniors and we couldn't be more happy to photograph her. We started the sitting in the studio with a few outfit changes including Breanna in her winter color guard uniform. It was great speaking to her about her college/career plans and even more importantly was the excitement about the prom the following evening.

. I must say the beautiful surrounding only complimented Breanna's own beauty.

Hello my name is Valorie Walz and today is my first time blogging and I'm already having a great time. I am a people person, as some of you may know, so this is a great way to keep in touch and to make new friends along the way.
